7/17 Praise reports!  1) Denise's dad Bud got a good report.  No cancer!  2) Vicki's surgery went well & she is home resting & recovering.   3) Janet's eye surgery went well & they were able to get the IV needle in right away.  She, too, is home resting & healing.   Praise God for all His answers to our prayers.

7/17 From Denise: Prayer request from  LaVonda for her daughter Tyre, who is undergoing treatment for cancer.  Prayers for strength and to feel the Lord's  Presence.   

7/17 From Sam:   Please pray for one of our rescue cats, Penny. She is currently at Mt Laurel Animal Hospital, being evaluated for Liver related issues. We have only had her for a few months and pray that the Lord will bless us with her for many more. Thank you, and God Bless

7/16 From Alice:" Prayer request for my friend Kathy.  Her cancer is back, & and she started chemo today.   Also, please pray for mercy for my sister-in-law Kathy.  She has been on the prayer list before.

7/11 Update From Vera: Praise: My great grandson Weston just came home from Children's Hospital and is feeling much better. He still has some pain, but being home helps. Please thank everyone for their prayers.

7/10 SueB- Praise:  when I went to the eye doctor, my pressure had come down quite a bit, praise God.  They will continue to monitor it.  Its all healing nicely Thank you for the prayers.

7/10 Prayer request for Pastor Steve Elliott's mom Carole.  She fell 2 months ago & had a brain bleed & has been between hospital & rehab since then.  She is back in the hospital & apparently not doing well.  Please pray for her & the family, for strength, mercy & comfort.   They are thankful for their Dobbins family's prayers.

7/9 Update on my eye surgery.  The surgery went well but I was very uncomfortable last night.  It felt better this morning & my vision had improved from last night.  However, when I went for my follow-up this morning, my eye pressure was very high. Doctor put drops in & it came down a couple points after 15 minutes. So she ordered drops for me to use 2x a day & I have to go back to get checked again tomorrow.  Please pray the pressure comes down (it was 35)& that it is only a result of the surgery & perhaps steroid drops i have to use for 4 weeks because of the surgery.  Thank you.

7/9 From Vera: Please put my great grandson Weston Taylor on the prayer list. He had his tonsils out, his throat was so swollen and he was having breathing problems and in severe pain that he went back to the hospital yesterday. He might be sent to Children’s Hospital. He just turned 11 in June.

7/8 Prayer for myself.  Having my 1st cataract removed today at 2. Please pray for all to go smoothly & quick healing . Thank you!

7/7 Prayer request for Lorrie Scheoeder.  She is having a procedure (test)on her liver tomorrow morning at 10:30. She is praying she does not need a biopsy. Please pray for things to go well & for God to ease any anxiety she has.  Thank you.

7/6 Prayer request for my granddaughter, Raine.  I've asked prayer for her before, for her stomach issues. This kid is in pain 24/7 & they haven't been able to figure out what is causing it.  Last Monday, her mom took her to CHOP. There is a new therapy they can use where they put something behind the ear & it somehow has the brain talk to the stomach to stop the pain.  It's a new procedure though, so not all insurance will cover it.  Please pray for healing for Raine.  Pray for God to touch her. Pray for this procedure to be approved if that's what He will use.  But my heart just asks Him to touch her with His own healing grace & let her know it came from Him.  Thanks

7/5 Last night Fran Furth's battle ended & Jesus took her Home.  She fought a long time & now she is at peace. Please pray for Bob now.  For years, his whole life has centered around caring for her. Pray God will wrap him in His arms of comfort & give him peace.  Thank you.

7/4 From Judy:  prayer request for the Furth family.  They are gathering at the hospital today to say goodbye to Fran because she is being removed from life support & letting God be God.  Pray for comfort & strength for each one, but especially for Bob. Thank you.

7/3 Sue : Prayer request for safety as Lori, Bryan & Lainey go on vacation for a few days about 5 hours away. Maddie & I will be holding down the fort....pray they have a good & safe time & get back safely.

7/2 Prayer update on Fran Furth; they have to intubate her & doctors told Bob they just aren't sure there is any more they can do for her.  She will have to be intubated for a couple of weeks & they aren't sure if they will be able to take her off again. So Bob asked for prayer for God to do what's best for Fran.  Pray for him, too.  He's worn out.  Fran has fought hard too & her body is tired.  Thanks guys.

6/25 From Conni Murray:  update on Justin ( who had the 2nd brain bleed). Just got this Please continue to pray for Justin and Danielle. He’s still has more swelling in the brain, and it's  shifted, and his kidneys were responding to dialysis but no longer are. He needs so much prayer

6/24 From Millie;  update on Lance.   They are still trying to figure out how to treat his bowel issue.  They have been trying to drain the abscess. He is having surgery on Wednesday Please continue to pray for wisdom for the doctors & peace for Lance & his family! Thank you

6/24 I just received this from Barry Bramble's daughter.  We need to be praying for him!     "This is Barry's daughter. He can't use his phone most days. Can we add Barry to this prayer list? He is dying of brain cancer. Thank you"

6/23 From Connie: Hey Sue, update on Sonny Rossner. He's out of surgery and doing well. He's on the vent  for just a few hours to make sure everything's stable, but everything went really well, and Michele was so grateful for our prayers.

6/23 From Millie: "Prayer request for my grandson Lance, the one with Crohn's disease that we've been praying for;  he's back in the hospital in ICU & they're not sure what to do.  They're not explaining every little thing to his father, Ron.  I'm praying for healing but more than anything I'm praying that God save his soul, that God intervene in his life & that God lets Lance know beyond a shot of a doubt that His hand is upon him amen

6/22 Prayer request for Lesli James.  Lesli is married to Ellie's grandson Ken. We have prayed for her before as she battled cancer.  Lesli has had several substantial setbacks in the past couple months with additional cancer & other things & she really needs extra prayers for strength & healing & for wisdom in treatment plans. She is trusting fully on Jesus. Please lift Lesli, Ken & their kids up.   Thank you

6/22 From Connie Hatcher : Prayer request for my friend, Sonny Rossner. He & his wife Michele are good friends of ours ( Pete & Joanne too) Sonny has to go in Monday and have a valve replaced & a bypass (the old-fashioned bypass)   He has an underlying issues with leukemia and heart failure, which complicates things.  His surgery is scheduled for Monday.  Please pray for successful surgery. Thank you.

6/21 From Conni Murray: Emergency prayer request for Justin (the man for whom we prayed who had several surgeries for a brain aneurysm):

"Please pray RIGHT NOW! Justin had blood poring out of his head when I got there this morning. They were rushing him to CT and then to surgery. He had another aneurysm and it burst. Things are really bad. Only God can save him now. Please pray. "(note that they still have not replaced the skull cap which is why the blood visible)

6/20 SueB- just got word that my cousin, John, has passed.  Jane said it was peaceful & honestly, I was overwhelmed yesterday when I saw ALL his family there with him at the hospice. He couldn't speak but when I leaned over & spoke to him I saw a smile of recognition in his eyes.  Please pray for Jane & his family.  I am profoundly grateful for all your prayers for him over the years.

6/19 From Barb Moritz:  prayer request for my friend/co-worker, Suzanne.  She has cancer in her head, neck, palate, salivary glands, and now she is suffering from compression fractures in  her back! She is a believer but now in severe pain. Thanks

6/17 I have 2 updates.  First is a praise that our Brad was discharged this afternoon & his twin sister even flew home to surprise him.  Please continue to pray for him to regain his strength.  2nd is update on my cousin John. They will be transferring him tomorrow to a hospice next to Virtua Vorhees.  Please continue to pray for God's Presence to be felt in his room & for Perfect Peace  & for God to strengthen & comfort his family.  Thank you!

6/17 From Judy:  prayer request for Fran Furth, and for Bob.  Fran has been in & out of ICU for the past few weeks & is back there now. Because of her COPD she had excessive carbon dioxide in her lungs.  They've cleared that but she is in bad shape, not just physically but mentally, having hallucinations. The doctors are stumped & Bob is utterly exhausted.  Please pray for God to provide the answers to this whole situation. Bob can't care for her at home like this.  God alone has the solution to all this. Please pray for them

6/16 Prayer request.  I have asked for prayers for my cousin John Phillips so many times.  I managed to go visit with him the end of the week in CCU because I felt the Lord telling me I needed to go. I got to talk to him about the Lord again & I felt he responded.  I went back yesterday. Tonight Jane told me they were putting him on hospice at the hospital. There is no more they can do for.him medically.  Please pray for John to feel the Presence of Jesus there with him. Pray for His Peace that passes understanding & for God to ease any fear he feels. Pray for Jane who has been the BEST wife & for their children.  Thank you.

Prayer for our Sarah, who has been diagnosed with breast cancer.  Treatment plan hasn't been decided yet so please just pray for Sarah & for wisdom for her doctors.   The praise is for Jeff.  He has found a job & is doing well, so praise God for that & continued prayers.   Thank you.

6/13 From Judy Russom Wilson: I just received some news about Wrenlee, unfortunately her blood counts are low so early this week she had a blood transfusion. Laura just called saying the baby's belly is distended and levels are low again. They are putting IV fluids and antibiotics in, Laura is on her way to the hospital. Please pray for the baby, also asking for a prayer chain. I can't ask on Facebook until Laura gives the ok.  Thank you.

6/13 From Conni Murray "Urgent prayer request My cousin Chris is asking for prayer for his son Zachary (33 years old). Zach was in a bad accident while driving his motorcycle and he’s in ICU. Chris is on his way there now. He doesn’t know details yet. God knows the details and God can heal! All prayers appreciated. "

6/12 Update.: Brad is out and in recovery & Jen is waiting to see him. The surgery was shorter than expected & doctor said everything went well.  Praise God.  Please pray as he recovers & learns to deal with his new reality.  God is Good

6/11 Update on Brad:  his mom told me  he said they have scheduled him for surgery tomorrow (Thursday) at 2pm. They will be doing an iliostomy.  His attitude seems pretty good. Please pray for the surgeons to have wisdom & skill as they operate & that his recovery be quick & complete.  Pray for Brad as he learns this new way of life caring for the surgical site. Pray that his heart be softened to the Holy Spirit & he will feel Jesus there with him.  Pray for his mom, Jen as she waits while her son goes thru this surgery.  Ironically it will be one year ago tomorrow that his sister Amy (my granddaughter) had emergency surgery after she had that brain bleed.  Jesus, please wrap Your arms around her * let her feel you with her.  Thank you everyone.

6/11 My cousin, John, has been admitted to the hospital again, this time to Lady of Lourdes. Afib, low sodium again, and anemia blood transfusions. You name it.  He's in the pulmonary dept. Jane said he's in bad shape but he's always been a fighter.  They don't want to do an endoscopy because it would be dangerous. My biggest prayer right now is that John would be saved.  I've talked to him about the Lord. Just pray the Holy Spirit comes along side him & plants that Truth in his heart.  I love my cousin & don't want him to die without Jesus.  Thank you guys.

6/11 Judy Spencer went to her cardiologist this morning & she was very pleased with her.  She's feeling better but still asks for prayer for.continued strength.....She has to get thru Brandon's graduation soon & that's an emotional time.  Thanks

6/11 From Denise: Prayers for my cousin Tiffany. She goes for MRI on 26th to check for MS. Asking for answers as she is in pain and can't sleep. She has had back surgery with no relief.

6/10 From Connie:  update on Katie;  -Traci just texted me that Katie's out of surgery. Everything went well🙏🏻She is so grateful for our prayers and just asks for us to keep praying that Katie has a speedy and uncomplicated recovery.

6/10 Prayer request for Barbara Kiter's daughter in law, Robin.  She had a serious stroke & had to have surgery. Please pray for God to touch her with His healing grace.  Thank you.

6/9 Prayer update on Brad. The doctors told him this afternoon that he needs surgery to repair his intestines.  His mom was going to the hospital right from work. I dont know when the surgery is happening.  It's not the answer we prayed for, but God is in control. Please pray for the God to guide the doctors in their decisions & for compassion from the medical staff ( one nurse was just awful to him!)  Pray for Gods peace to surround Brad & for Him to drive out fear.  Pray for healing & salvation. My heart so hurts for him.  Thank you

6/9 From Barb:  asking prayer for Jamie's & my friend Diane. Her Dad is going home to  Syria for 4months after Fathers day. He is a US citizen. His village is in the center of Al Qaida gunfire! She is extremely worried what could happen!! He is 80yrs old

6/9 Please pray for our Brad today. They are repeating the CT scans to see if his intestines have improved with treatment, or if he will need surgery.  PLEASE  pray there has been improvement so he doesn't have to go thru this traumatic surgery.  Pray for Gods peace & Presence to be felt.  God is so good

6/9 From Denise : Please pray for my husband Bill he is having a MRI today. This is to see why he is still having pain on his right side. Let answers be found and a good outcome.

6/7 From Millie: "Please put Chris back on your prayer list. And she went to the hospital again for the same thing with the problem with the pain in her head only it was worse this time. They finally took her to our Lady of Lourdes where she had her original surgery and they're investigating. She is supposed to go on a trip to California to visit family with her sister so I'm praying that everything work out they find the problem and they resolve it in Jesus name amen"

6/6 Update on our Brad:  they held off on any surgery because he still had some movement. They are continuing the steroids to decrease inflammation.  He still has an NG tube, which is very sore.  Thank you for all your prayers... they are working.  Please continue to pray for his body to heal & function as it should without any surgery.  Pray for his discomfort with the NG tube.  Pray that soon they will be able to give him some kind of food by mouth & not just IV.  And, very importantly, let him know God is right there with him & that the prayers we are praying are working so this young man can come to faith.  Be with his mom too, as she worries about her son!

6/5 From Denise: someone gave me a prayer request for a gentleman named Phil who is nearing the end of his life.  Prayer is he knows the Lord and accepts Him as his Savior. He also suffers from mental illness. The Lord knows  the details.  Please pray for His hand on Phil's life.

6/4 From Millie: Update on Karen, who I asked you previously to pray for.  She is home now she is gradually getting well. I got to talk to her, and she's doing fine and I told her about all of us praying for her. God will take it from there. God's on the move, thank you God

6/3 Prayer request for Staci Nutt Softly (Pat Nutts daughter).  She is having surgery tomorrow for ligament reconstruction on her knee cap. Pray for God to guide the surgeon so her knee can heal & she can walk without pain. Thank you

6/3 Update on Brad: The obstruction is getting worse, not better. They unclamped the NG tube and the nurse said the docs will talk to him tomorrow- he said it's urgent, not emergent. But he explained to Brad that they would cut out the bad part and he would have a bag, hopefully not forever"     Please guys, pray for Brad & for Katie. Bad enough to have these diseases, but to be told at the age of 25 that you will need an ostomy bag...even for a short time....is devastating.  Pray they turn to the Lord in this & feel His Presence with them.  They need His Peace.

6/3 From Dennis: ..Sue is home in a lot of pain. They decided that she needs the other leg done as well. So she goes back next week for that.  It was intense. She has to be awake for it & the pain IS BAD. . She needs to push her hip surgery back now as well.  Prayers are very welcome!

6/3 From Millie:  I have a prayer request for Chris again. She was in the hospital but they sent her home because they found nothing wrong. Today, they took her to the hospital again. She never told them that she had psychiatric problems and was on medication for that & that she has had diarrhea off and on for the last month. She didn't want to go to the hospital but I convinced her that God was with her and that she could have peace while she was there so keep her in your prayers and I appreciate all of you amen

6/3 From Connie Hatcher:  I need prayers for a young lady, a relative of my daughter-in-law. She's being transferred to the Hospital of Pennsylvania. She has to have her colon removed. She has very bad Ulcerative colitis and this is the only thing left to do. This girl is a nursing student and only 25 years old. This is so sad. I feel so bad for her. They tried every drug in the book and nothing. None of the protocols were able to control it. Thank you so much.

Tomorrow, I have vascular surgery on my stent in my thigh. I can't have my hip surgery until that's fixed.  Prayers much appreciated

6/3 Update on Brad; "He was in a lot of bad pain earlier until they gave him more dilaudid at 9:30. GI doc came in about an hour ago and said they are still hoping that the inflammation goes down enough for him to poo and avoid surgery. He still has the NG tube and 'maybe' that came come out tomorrow. They did another xray earlier but no one has come in with results yet. The steroids were started yesterday, hoping to get the inflammation under control. He is resting a little right now, but has break through pain. AND he thinks the kidney stone that we didn't know about  until the CT on Tuesday- which was never even mentioned at that visit- is trying to pass 😬"

6/2 Update on Judy. They were talking about sending her home today, but she ended up back in ICU with A-fib early this morning. Please pray they can get this under control. And pray for God's perfect peace over her. Thanks

6/2 Prayer request for Brad Lloyd. He's my granddaughter Amy's brother.  I got this from their mom, Jen. "Hi Sue- can you say a prayer for Brad- we have been at Virtua since before 8 am, he has a bowel obstruction and they have admitted him- they put in an NG tube and are sucking out his stomach now, and will be putting him on steroids. They are worried about sepsis. We are waiting for the colorectal surgeon to come in for a consult. "   please pray for Brad & for God to direct the doctors.

5/31 Update on my cousin John Phillips;  John came home from the hospital this week.  They wanted him to go to rehab & tried to tell him he wasn't ready to go home, but he refused, so he's home. He's not doing well though & I think some of it is mental issues. He's not sleeping & he's not able to get out of his chair alone.  My favorite cousin but boy is he stubborn.  I'm actually worried about his wife, Jane, though too.  Jane has had her own heart issues in the past & I'm worried all this stress will put her in the hospital herself. So please, pray for both John & Jane during this stressful time. Continue to pray for his salvation.  Thank you so much

5/31 From Millie: Prayer request for Chris, who  comes with me to church. She  was just taken out by the ambulance.  She has had trouble with her blood pressure, and she had previously had a stroke and also surgery on her brain because of the last stroke she had. Praying that God guides the doctors, that nobody overreacts, and that she comes back in one piece. Thank you, guys
